The Dr. John A. Gable Memorial Lecture Series, sponsored each year by The Friends of Sagamore Hill, honors the legacy of Dr. John A. Gable (pictured above) as long-time Director of the Theodore Roosevelt Association and tireless advocate for both Theodore Roosevelt and his enduring presence on the American scene.

All Lectures are held Thursday evenings @ 7:00 p.m.

On Thursday, June 20, 2019, Jeff Heatley (pictured above during his lecture) discussed TR's time at Camp Wikoff in Montauk with the Rough Riders, based on his book, Bully! Colonel Roosevelt, The Rough Riders & Camp Wikoff.  

Our May 16th lecture with Paul Grondahl (pictured below left) was both well-received and well-attended.  Approximately 40 attendees were provided insights into TR's early political apprenticeship in Albany as legislator and governor.  Paul's audience (pictured below right) was fully engaged and appreciative.
